After School Activity Coordinator – Make Learning Fun!

Are you ready to have fun while making a difference in children’s lives? Join our after-school team where you’ll help students explore sports, STEM, robotics, coding, culinary arts, arts & crafts, and more—all while supporting their homework and academic success!

Position Summary:

Under general supervision, you will help coordinate, monitor, and facilitate a variety of academic, enrichment, and recreational activities for our after-school program. Every day is a chance to inspire creativity, curiosity, and confidence in students.

Hours:
Monday-Friday | 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm | 20 hours/week
Pay: $12–$15/hour

What You’ll Do:

Create a positive, engaging, and fun learning environment for students and families.
Guide children through exciting lessons in sports, STEM, robotics, coding, culinary arts, and arts & crafts.
Support homework completion and reinforce school day learning.
Supervise children and ensure safe, organized classroom and activity spaces.
Observe and evaluate student progress to help each child thrive.
Maintain program materials, classrooms, and equipment.
Participate in family nights, staff meetings, trainings, and special events.
Serve as a positive role model and help ensure student safety at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
At least 6 months of experience working with school-age children preferred.
At least 18 years old.
CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, and Child Abuse Prevention training will be provided and are required.
Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities.
Experience working with diverse student populations is a plus.
